Meet the Team

Abbie is a licensed and certified speech language pathologist, and the owner of Coastal Communication. She received both her undergraduate and graduate degrees from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. Abigail moved from Pennsylvania to South Carolina to complete her Clinical Fellowship Year and has remained in South Carolina since. She has worked in early intervention since she completed her masters degree in 2021. She also has experience in the school system and skilled rehabilitation settings.

Abbie has earned an ACE Award through ASHA which is formal recognition to lifelong learning by earning 7.0 ASHA continuing education units (equivalent to 70 contact hours) within a 36-month period.

In her off time, Abbie enjoys spending time with her 18 month old daughter, going to the beach with family, and traveling. Abbie is interested in and currently working towards also becoming a certified lactation counselor CLC.
